Do you provide a written contract or agreement? Yes - to secure your booking it is important for your piece of mind to have a written agreement with us. 


What payment methods do you accept?  We accept cheque, cash, or direct transfer. We require a small deposit once your booking has been agreed and the written confirmation has been sent.


Do you have public liability insurance? Yes - we are fully insured for 10 million pounds and you may have a copy of our certificate for your venue if required.  


Are you Portable Appliance Tested (PAT tested)? Yes - we are PAT tested and you may have a copy of our certificate for your venue if required.


Can we meet our DJ before signing the contract? Yes - we encourage that clients meet with us initially, that way you know who you are dealing with and it won’t be a surprise on the night, we will also get an idea of your music tastes etc, and expectations for the evening. If you can, arrange to meet at your chosen venue as this will be a good chance for you to go through any requirements and for the DJ to advise you on what will best suit your needs.


Can we meet you again before the event? If you would like a final meeting nearer to the date of your event we are more than happy to. It can be reassuring to have that second meeting to revise any plans, or just to talk through what was confirmed initially.


How involved can we be in choosing our music? You are in complete control of the music played at your event. Whilst we will give you access to our "Most Requested Songs" database, and make suggestions to you, ultimately we are here to play exactly what you want. Alternatively if you would rather we handle this aspect of your party, with over 15 years experience and thousands of songs from the 1950's to present day, we are confident to do so.


Do you take requests on the night? Your DJ will use his experience to gauge appropriate requests based on your playlist and music ideas obtained beforehand . We would normally ask you if there is any music genres or songs you absolutely don't want played. That way we are able to keep your guests happy without deviating from your instructions.


Do you have a microphone for speeches? Yes - all of our systems have microphones. If you need more they can be supplied, including cordless microphones.

Do you have a backup? Yes - we always have a DJ on standby, in the rare possibility that your DJ falls ill or injured. All our DJs also have a backup of music CDs in case their laptop fails so they can instantly rectify such a situation without you or your guests being affected.


How long do you need to setup? It varies a little depending on your event, for example a children's party setup is around 45 minutes, where as a wedding is 60-90 minutes depending on the size of the setup. If you are booking us for a wedding it might be worth considering paying a little extra for a morning setup, so that you aren't bothered with the distractions of someone hauling equipment in and out and doing sound checks etc.


How do you determine your charges? Our costs are based on where you are in the country, the size of your venue, and what we are providing. There is always someone willing to do a job cheaper but they aren't always insured, using safe or high quality equipment, using good quality downloads/CDs and may not turn up if a better offer comes in.
